The MindStorms behind our robotics programmes
Robots carry an image of either a humanoid or a metal creature with tons of soldering and electrical circuits. Lego, however, brings the beauty of robotics through "MindStorms NXT", a robotics sytem that carries an appeal well beyond age and gender. In particular, our programmes are designed to:
  1. Offer over 150 robot projects of increasing difficulty to choose from spanning our entire robotics program
  2. Caters to a variety of interests and abilities
  3. Delves into experiencing Science concepts of Newton's laws, force, energy, friction, simple machines, and an in-depth study of gears, levers, pulleys, & cams
  4. Radius of turn, circle, speed, distance, time are a few of the Math concepts encountered
  5. Creative design challenges such as transforming a car into a crawling instect & vice versa
  6. Daily project extensions provide the framework for continuing set of challenges
  7. Construct one or more projects every session

A window into our sessions While specific content varies based on age-appropriateness, in general, participants:

  1. Are guided through self-paced building of projects
  2. Supported based on the learning outcomes and difficulties in the project
  3. Introduced to types and uses of robots and cool robots
  4. Gently supported through programming
